제주지역에서 유일하게 '공무원연금공단' 마스코트인 믿음이와 동행이가 3회 연속 '우리 동네 캐릭터 대상'본선에 진출한 가운데 올레해설사 양성 및 청정제주 보전을 골자로 (사)제주올레와 업무협약을 체결하고 두 손을 맞잡았다.

 

양 기관은 이번에 체결된 협약에 따라 ▲ 제주 올레해설사(길동무) 양성을 통한 일자리 창출 ▲ 제주 올레길 환경 보전 활동 공동 추진 ▲ 올레길 걷기 축제 지원 등 지역발전에 협력한다.

 

공무원연금공단은 지난 2015년 9월 제주 서귀포 혁신도시로 본부를 이전한 이후 올레 7코스 전담 관리기관으로 지정받아 매월 환경정화 및 플로깅 활동 등을 펼치고 있다.

 

특히 공공기관 최초 중문색달해수욕장 반려해변 입양 등 천혜의 제주 환경 보전을 위해 총력을 기울이고 있다.
