국가유산 보물 '탐라순력도'에 기록된 제주의 전통문화인 '제주양로' 행사가 성황리에 재현됐다.

제주특별자치도는 17일 오후 3시 제주목 관아 망경루 앞마당에서 '탐라순력도 제주양로 재현행사'를 개최했다.

'제주양로'는 1432년(세종 14년)에 시작된 전통 행사로 각 지방 수령들이 왕을 대신해 노인을 대접했던 연회다.

1702년 11월 19일 제주목사 이형상이 망경루 앞에서 제주목에 거주하던 노인들(당시 80세 이상 183명ㆍ90세 이상 23명ㆍ100세 이상 3명)을 모시고 양로연을 시행한 모습이 탐라순력도에 생생하게 묘사돼 있다.
